Randy Hahn, Captain (Ret.)

Biography

Randy retired from the Alaska State Troopers at the rank of Captain with over 26 years of experience. During his time with the Alaska Department of Public Safety (DPS), he served in a wide array of roles, including specialty units, Deputy Commander of the DPS Training Academy, and numerous other training assignments. He has significant experience in tactical operations and tactical command and is a graduate of the Southern Police Institute’s 103rd Administrative Officer’s Course.

He has since transitioned to private industry and serves as the training director for a large security company in Alaska. Certified as a police instructor for over 28 years, Randy’s instructor credentials include emergency vehicle operations, multiple firearms, pepper spray, defensive tactics, CEW, Use of Force, Police K9, SWAT, De-Escalation, and a number of others.
